Here’s a tip… If you’re going carve your name illegally into a rock in a national forest, don’t post a picture of it on social media for the world to see!

Actress Vanessa Hudgens and her boyfriend Austin Butler are under investigation by Arizona officials because she posted a picture to Instagram of a rock carving of the names ‘Austin + Vanessa’ in a heart on Sedona’s protected red rock stone formations in Coconino National Forest. The picture has since been removed from her account, but other pictures of the couple in the park are still up.

If found guilty, they could be facing up to six months in jail and a maximum $5,000 fine.
