Come one, come all to the Shrine Circus Spectac under the big top you’ll see the acrobats, clowns, animal performers and more. They’re all here in Barrie, in the Bayfield Mall parking lot with the weekend’s first 2 shows going today at 4pm and second at 730pm.

The Orillia Waterfront Festival launches today from the Port of Orillia where you’ll see the in-water boat show with everything from kayaks to cruisers and over 100 on-land vendors, open until 8pm tonight.

The 43rd Alliston Potato Festival featuring the famous Rotary Festival Potato parade to kick everything off tonight at 7pm and along Victoria Street. The Midway and Outdoor Vendor Market is open on the Fairgrounds and a live band is on stage at 9:30pm tonight.

Saturday, it’s FEAST Craft Beer, Food & Music Festival a taste of our heritage with craft  breweries and live entertainment at Sainte-Marie Among the Hurnons in Midland from 10-5 tomorrow.

The Shrine Circus Spectac features 3 shows today under the big top in the Bayfield Mall parking lot in Barrie. Where you’ll see acrobats, clowns, animal performers and more with shows at noon, 4 and 730. Come one, come all don’t miss it today and tomorrow!

FEAST Craft Beer, Food & Music Festival goes today from the historic Sainte-Marie Among the Hurons in Midland. This event is a taste of our heritage, also featuring Thornbury Village Craft Cider and all kinds of live music from 10-5 today only.

The Orillia Waterfront Festival continues from the Port of Orillia with an in-water boat show, on-land vendors, water ski shows, the dock dogs diving contest and more its open until 7pm tonight.

The Get Outdoors Festival gives you a chance to explore one of Ontario’s largest wetlands this weekend at Wye Marsh in Midland.

The 43rd Alliston Potato Festival starts at 9 this morning with Vendors Market on the Fairgrounds. The Fairgrounds will host the midway, live music and all kinds of events through the day today.

Our Barrie Baycats take it to the road in Burlington today during the opening round of IBL Baseball Playoffs. Game 2 goes this afternoon, 1:05p first pitch. Game 3 is tomorrow night in Barrie.

It’s the 2016 Gathering of the Classics in Stayner at Edenvale Aerodrome with a unique chance to see aircrafts from the last century.

The Coldwater Steampunk Festival is today, the Mill Street stage will host fashion, costume and live animal shows, along with live music and a big artisan market to see today.

The Muskoka Model Train Show is today and tomorrow from JD Lang Activity Park in Bracebridge.

In Parry Sound its the Georgian Bay Craft Fair through the downtown area along the Main Street.

The visiting Legend Car Series will make an appearance at Sunset Speedway, Innisfil tonight racing along with Late Models, Mini Stocks and Mighty Minis 6pm opening green flag.

Sunday Aug 7

Come one, come all as this is it! The final day of the Shrine Circus Spectac outside the Bayfield Mall, Barrie. See clowns, acrobats, animal performers and more today at 1 and 5pm for their final 2 shows of the weekend!

The Oriilia Waterfront Festival features the annual cardboard boat races at noon today. Lots to see with the in-water boat show, on-land vendors, water ski shows and more its open until 6p tonight.

The 43rd Alliston Potato Festival heads into its final day. The Outdoor Vendors Market is open bright and early this morning on the Fairgrounds along with a stunt dog show, magic show, midway, Highland Dancers and more.

The Get Outdoors Festival continues today giving you a chance to escape into the Wye Marsh and explore one of Ontario’s largest wetlands.

The Muskoka Model Train Show continues from JD Lang Activity Park in Bracebridge.

IBL Baseball Playoffs continue for the Barrie Baycats chasing their 3rd championship title in a row with Game 3 on the home diamond from Coates Stadium tonight against Burlington. 7:00pm first pitch.

Wednesday take a trip to Discovery Harbour in Penetang for a Ghost Tour. Happening Wednesday’s all summer long, guided tours by candlelight through the historic site, starting at 9p.
