Suspect In Florida High School Shooting A “Troubled, Ex-Student”

"Disturbing" notes on social media

The 19-year-old arrested an hour after Wednesday’s shooting rampage at a high school in Florida had been expelled from the school for reasons that have not been disclosed. Investigators say they have entries on his social media that were very, very disturbing but will not elaborate. Fellow students say he was kind of an outcast, didn’t have many friends and was crazy about guns. Seventeen adults and students were killed in the shooting. U.S. President Trump offered his prayers and condolences to the families of the victims. A student who survived said on social media she did not want his condolences, demanding he do something and take action on gun control rather than simply offering prayers.
