Suspects Sought In Attempted Credit Card Fraud
Fled from store empty-handed
Barrie Police are looking for two men after a stolen credit card was used to try to buy merchandise at WalMart on Mapleview Drive. This happened around 10:30 Friday morning. A gold chain was put through. When that was successful, police say they tried to add a shirt and six VISA gioft cards to the purchase. Suspicious, the clerk asked to see some ID. That’s then the men fled empthy-handed and without the credit card. They are described as:
Suspect 1
- male, black
- 18-20 years old
- 140-160lbs, thin build
- 5’8″-6′
- short black hair in pig tails
- wearing dark blue long sleeve shirt with unknown logo on front left chest, black jeans and black running shoes
Suspect 2
- male, black
- 18-20 years old
- 140-160lbs, thin build
- 5’8″-6′
- short black hair
- wearing a black New York Yankees Baseball cap, black t-shirt, black jeans and black running shoes with grey lining the outside sole
