Police say a few guys in Bradford tried to pull the ol’ switcheroo. A South Simcoe Police officer was conducting a RIDE check at the drive thru of a Bradford restaurant around 2:00 this morning, when she saw a vehicle approach. The officer says the driver and passenger switched places before entering the spot check, but the officer didn’t fall for it. The breathalyser registered a WARN, meaning for a 3-day licence suspension for the 24-year-old Loretto man now in the passenger seat. Police remind everyone impaired driving is still illegal even if you’re in a parking lot.
