Talk Shows Dedicate Their Opening Monologues to Kobe
A very touch day for everyone
It was the first shows back since learning of the devastating news Sunday about the tragic helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna and seven others.
Ellen, Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel were all emotional when talking about the basketball legend.
Kimmel announced the show would be a one-hour tribute to Bryant who appeared on his show 15 times.

Fallon got choked up during his monologue when telling the story about when he met Kobe for the first time.
Ellen teared up Monday remembering Kobe and had a message for her audience and views to “celebrate life!”
Whoopi and the ladies of the View also paid their respects…
