Taylor Swifts’ Mom Is Battling A Brain Tumour
Perhaps this is the reason she is not going to tour.
Last year, news broke that Taylor’s mom was battling breast cancer and had been since being diagnosed in 2015. Taylor has now confirmed that her mother, Andrea is battling a brain tumour.
In an interview with Variety, Taylor explains that, during Andrea’s treatment, doctors discovered a tumour on her brain, presenting a whole new set of issues the family hadn’t experienced before.
Taylor also confirms that due to these health issues with her mother, she will not be supporting her Lover album with a full tour.
There are a few smaller shows planned in the US, South American and Europe so Taylor can focus on her family’s needs.
