Teen Pulled From Water At Centennial Beach
Had been in water for about an hour
Emergency crews used a human chain Friday evening to search for a missing teen in the water off Centennial Beach in Barrie. They were called to the beach just after 6pm. A Barrie Police marine officer recovered the teen – who had been visiting from out of country – an hour later in about 30 feet of water, 25 feet beyond the designated swimming area. He was pronounced dead at hospital.
