Dozens Held Hostage And Up To 40 Dead
French Police have confirmed there have been two suicide attacks…. Boarders have been shut down and French President Francois Hollande has declared a state of emergency for all of France. In what appears to be a coordinated attack at multiple locations in the French capital, eyewitnesses claim that the assailants carried Kalashnikov rifles. About 100 hostages are being held at a theater, where Californian rock band Eagles of Death Metal were performing. Reports indicate at least 60 people were killed after attackers opened fire in a restaurant and then moved into the concert hall. Police report hearing three explosions near the countries national stadium, which was hosting a soccer game. One local TV station says 100 people have been taken hostage.
US President Barack Obama calls today’s violence an “outrageous attempt to terrorize innocent civilians.”
