Terror In France: The Aftermath

Raids on Syria, Arrests in France

Response to Friday’s terror attacks has been swift, as promised. There were air raids on ISIS targets in Syria overnight, and raids on homes across France – 150 of them. Several arrests were made and a rocket launcher was seized. Two more of the suicide attackers have been identified. One, a Frenchman, had been charged in a terror investigation in 2012. He had been placed under judicial supervision but dropped off the radar and was subject of an international arrest warrant. Three members of his family are among those arrested in the overnight raids. And there is a massive search underway for 26 year old Salah Abdeslam, who was born in Brussels, who is believed to have rented the car the attackers used.
