The Erwin Family Has Saved 90,000 Animals In The Australian Wildfires…

So much devastation

It started with the late Steve Irwin and the family is continuing his legacy of rescuing and saving wildlife.

Steve’s daughter Bindi, his son Robert and their mom, have rescued and treated over 90,000 animals- many of them injured by the devastating Wildfires in Australia.

Bindi took to instagram last week to say,

“With so many devastating fires within Australia, my heart breaks for the people and wildlife who have lost so much.”

The Irwin family owns the Australia Zoo and other conservation properties say that the zoo’s wildlife hospital has been “busier than ever.”  The zoo has not been endangered by the fires at this time.

There are reports that a billion animals have died since the fires broke out and at least 24 people have died in Australia wildfires and in the state of New South Wales alone, more than 1,300 houses have been destroyed.
