The Oscars Will Once Again Have No Host
Because Last Year Went So Well?
No host for the Oscars again this year as the Academy will be focusing on star power and great performances to entice audiences to tune in to the live show on February 9th.
Last year was the first show in 30 years without a host after Kevin Hart stepped back from his planned hosting duties.
The show’s reviews were mixed last year from critics even though the Academy had an epic performance by Queen followed by Tina Fey, Amy Pohler and Maya Rudolph coming out to introduce the show.
The show had its lowest viewership last year, but still insist the awards show needs no host.
