The Toronto Blue Jays open their 40th season tonight!

The Toronto Blue Days return home to open their 40th season tonight at the Rogers centre. They will face the Red Sox in front of a sold out crowd!

How big of a baseball fan are you?  Do you know the game inside and out?

Baseball rules you may not know about:

1.  Technically, players on opposing teams can’t hang out on the field together once they’re in uniform.

2.  A right-handed pitcher cannot switch in the middle of an at-bat and start throwing left-handed.

3. When a coach visits the mound to talk to the pitcher, there’s a 30-second time limit. This is a new rule they just added to speed up the game…

4.  There are 23 different ways a player can end up on first base, including a hit, a walk, an error, a fielder’s choice, catcher interference, and getting hit by a pitch. 5.

5. If you catch a ball with your hat, the runner automatically goes to third. The rule applies if you use any part of your uniform to catch the ball, other than your glove.
