Theft Reported At Alcona Store That Hasn’t Opened For Business Yet
Bandit Pretended to Be Cleaning Staff
South Simcoe Police are looking for someone who lifted some goods from the Canadian Tire store in Alcona. “But wait,” you’re thinking, “that store isn’t even open yet, it just got built!” That’s because police say the suspect pretended to be cleaning staff at the new facility so he could steal some goods. His disguise allegedly didn’t fool the security guard on duty, he fled during questioning. The K9 unit was brought in, and police say they found a backpack containing stolen goods, but no suspect. He is described as:

- white
- 5’6″
- light brown moustache and goatee
- between 25 and 30 years old
