One of the Cancer Society’s premiere fundraisers goes tonight; Barrie Relay For Life.  At Mapleview Community Church tonight from 6p-midnight. Teams of friends, family and co-workers together have raised thousands of dollars, it’s an incredibly emotional night of remembrance and celebration.

Opening day of the Georgian Auto Show from the Barrie Campus. The largest outdoor student auto show in N.A. Featuring a huge variety of attractions including the kids zone, Phaff Porsche wet track, guest speakers, a live auction, the batmobile and a motorcycle and vehicle show & shine. Summer Friday’s all season long you can visit the OK Friday Barnfair from Burls Creek Event Grounds in Oro Medonte. A community driven art and farmers market offering an incredible selection of fresh produce, ready to eat foods, fresh baked goods, arts, crafts, kids activities and live music. Today from 3-8.

Burls Creek is a busy spot this weekend as the 34th Annual Spring Automotive Flea Market runs all weekend long.  It’s open until 7pm tonight, kids 12 & under are free.

Georgian Bay’s largest In Water Boat Show launches today in Midland at Bay Port Yacht Centre. Its on until 9 tonight with over 100 new & used boats on display and live entertainment tonight.

The Haliburton Home & Cottage Show opens today at Haliburton Arena.

The Georgian Auto Show continues from the Barrie Campus. North America’s largest outdoor student run auto show is open until 6p tonight. With most major manufacturers displaying their 2016’s, the Pfaff Porsche wet track, batman Is making an appearance, kidszone and a motorcycle/vehicle show & shine, kids 12 & under get in free.

Its Celebrate Barrie, the City’s 17th annual community festival at Centennial Park. Free event until 5p tonight. With live entertainment on the waterfront stage, rock climbing wall, inflatables and bring your lawn chairs for a movie under the stars tonight on Centennial Beach and dusk.

It’s Base Borden’s 100th anniversary and they have been granted freedom of the City today. You’ll see up to a thousand military taking part in a parade through downtown Barrie and celebration at City Hall starting at 10a.

The 34th Annual Spring Barrie Automotive Flea Market continues today from Burls Creek Event Ground in Oro. It’s on until 7p tonight, kids 12 & under are free. Bring your comfy shoes, acres upon acres of goods for sale, more than just auto parts and accessories, there is a big variety and something for everyone.

Georgian Bay’s largest in water boat show is on today in Midland at Bay Port Yacht Centre. Over 100 new and used boats on display, demo rides fishing demos wakeboarding demos this aft, marketplace, live entertainment and more. Open until  5p tonight.

Tonight at Sunset Speedway, Innisfil expect ultra fast laps from the Super Late Model Series with a special 75 lap feature, racing starts at 6p.

It’s time for the Barrie Waterfront Half Marathon. This morning the 5k, 10k and half marathon will take place along the waterfront race course.

The Georgian Auto Show is into its final day at the Barrie Campus. Batman and his batmobile have been receiving a lot of attention this weekend, the Grand Touring Exotic Car Display is a big attraction along with the Pfaff Porsche wet track and kidszone. There’s a LIVE auction on the mainstage at 1p, the show & shine awards will be handed out at 3p. Show closes at 6 tonight.
