3. Experience the Culinary Delights of Inn at Cobble Beach

For its breathtaking scenery and excellent golf course, Inn at Cobble Beach is a popular summer destination. But in the winter it is just as picturesque, and there are still plenty of activities to keep you busy. In addition to the sprawling rooms, the hotel is equipped with a full-service Spa, where you can enjoy a long list of treatments including couples massages. There is also the gourmet restaurant, featuring an extensive wine list that would impress any sommelier. Snowshoeing is a great way to enjoy the grounds and get some fresh air, and you can always warm up in the indoor hot tub.


2. Ice Trail at Arrowhead Provincial Park


Just north of Huntsville you’ll find Arrowhead Provincial Park, featuring 1.5km of groomed ice trails. If you don’t own a pair of skates, rentals are available. From B&Bs to cottage rentals, there are tons of options for accommodations within the area, including Deerhurst Resort. Just 15 minutes away, Deerhurst features an excellent restaurant with its own list of fun winter activities.


1. Scandinave at Blue Mountain 


Even if you don’t ski or snowboard, Blue Mountain is a great destination, with great restaurants and events happening all year long. Perhaps the best way to relax and recharge is in the baths at Scandinave Spa.  A day pass to the baths is $55, or you can enjoy one of their many spa services. But don’t forget to arrive early- they often reach capacity during the busy winter months.
