Top 5 Things To Do This Fall!

Fall is easily one of the greatest seasons EVER. It’s sweater weather! The temperatures aren’t too cold or too warm. Fall is also a wonderful time of year to break into the festive spirit, with Thanksgiving right around the corner and pumpkin spice filling the air, here are five things to do this fall to make it the greatest yet!

  1. Go apple picking

Here’s a list of Apple Orchards and fresh Farmers Markets in our area:

  1. Go pick your own Pumpkin for carving for Halloween

One of the greatest places to pick your own Pumpkin is just outside of Barrie at Chappell Farm’s!

  1. Throw a Fall Themed Party

This can be an easy and fun way to get together with friends and family! Build up a pile of leaves for the kids to jump in, set up a bobbing for apples game, have a bon fire, bake some pumpkin treats and candy apples.

  1. Attend one of the many Fall Fairs in our area

Fall fairs are a great way to get your fix of carnival rides and fried food! This weekend (September 23rd to 25th) is the Coldwater Fall Fair, just outside of Orillia. Park Place will be throwing their fall fair on October 16th, where you can see KoolFM on-site with Jocelyn. Another great fall day trip for the family is to Drysdale’s Tree Farm for their “Frightful Forest” or “Psycho Path”, where you can get ready for Halloween. If you’re in the market for a good scare you have to check out the Pimpkinferno at Discovery Harbour in Penetanguishine!

  1. Try a new fall themed drink
