Toyota Recalls 6.5M Vehicles Over Faulty Window Switch

Could spark fires

Toyota is recalling 6-and-a-half million cars worldwide to fix a power window switch defect that could lead to a fire. Nearly 3-million of the vehicles are in North America. Toyota is not aware of any crashes caused by the glitch. Models affected include Yaris, Corolla, Camry, Matrix, RAV4, Highlander, Tundra, Sequoia and Scion xB built between Janaury 2005 and December 2010.
