Toys For Tickets Back In Orillia

Helps families during stressful time of year

Orillia has launched its Toys for Tickets campaign for a tenth year. Between now and December 1, those who get a parking ticket in town can pay it off by donating a toy of greater or equal value. The toys then handed over to North Simcoe Victim Crisis Services and the local chapter of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul for distribution to those in need. In the last decade more than $25000 worth of toys have been donated. To donate, take your parking ticket along with an unwrapped toy in its original packaging and proof of purchase to the Treasury Department on the first floor of the Orillia City Centre during regular business hours by Friday December 4.
