Traffic Troubles Top Of Mind In Innisfil

A Cookstown intersection and school zone in Alcona getting attention

Innisfil Council is dealing with a couple of traffic issues. The town is applying for a provincial grant to improve the signals at King and Queen/Church Streets after complaints about traffic safety in the area.

It’s also putting parking restrictions in place on Anna Maria Avenue and MacLean Street near St Francis of Assisi School in Alcona. Signs will also be erected urging pedestrians to use the crosswalks. There have been issues with traffic flow and congestion in that area.
