Trafficking Charges Laid in Georgina
Driver Stopped For Speeding, Facing Additional Charges
A Toronto man is looking at drug dealing charges after a traffic stop in Georgina. York Regional Police pulled a vehicle over for speeding around 1:00 this morning, along Woodbine and Deer Park Drive. The 30-year-old driver was subsequently arrested, and along with the Trafficking charge, he was also hit with a speeding infraction, and a Driving Under Suspension charge. Police say 200g of pot was seized, along with about $10,000 in Canadian currency.
