Purse Even Returned To Victim With Contents Intact
Three do-gooders helped put the kibosh on a suspected purse snatching. Around lunchtime yesterday, Barrie Police say a thief ran from the downtown library with a stolen purse in hand. Three people gave chase, keeping the cops updated on the bandit’s whereabouts the whole time. They even helped retrieve the purse and get all the contents back to the victim. A 23-year-old Barrie lad was held for a bail hearing.
