Suspected DUI and High Miler Charges Laid

A few out-of-towners are looking at traffic charges after a drive through Wasaga Beach. Huronia West OPP say they spied a vehicle swerving around on Mosley St. around 3:00 Sunday morning, and quickly pulled it over. They sat the 26-year-old Brampton woman behind the wheel was under the influence, but refused to provide a breath sample. She was charged and is expected back in Collingwood for a late September court date. Around 2:00 Monday morning, police say they clocked a vehicle hitting speeds of 110km/h along River Road West. The posted limit along that route is 50km. A 48-year-old Richmond Hill man lost his license and vehicle for a week, as a result of a Stunt Driving charge.
