Two Donation Boxes Taken From Barrie Convenience Store

Poppy And Canadian Cancer Society Donation Boxes Taken

Police are looking for a man who swiped two charity boxes from a Barrie convenience store. Surveillance from Anne’s Variety on Dunlop Street West show a man in his mid to late 20’s removing a Poppy donation box as well as one meant for the Canadian Cancer Society, right off the counter before concealing them in a rolling suitcase, around 10:00 Tuesday night. The suspect is described as:

  • Male, white
  • Approximately mid to late 20’s
  • medium build
  • short brown hair, clean shaven

Clothing:

  • Dark grey sweater
  • Dark coloured pants
  • Black backpack with Adidas symbol (or similar)
  • Carry on size pull suitcase
