Two Former Barrie Schools Sold For $5.8-Mil

Buyer Keeping Mum Thanks to Confidentiality Agreement

They sold off Barrie Central and Prince of Wales schools. The Simcoe County District School Board says they finalized the $5.8-million deal yesterday, with a close date of January 31st next year. Last November, the school board declared the two schools surplus, and put them on the chopping block. Can’t tell you who scooped up the property however, everyone involved in this sale is bound by confidentiality agreements.
