Nobody Hurt As House Peppered With Bullets

Police in Newmarket are on the hunt for a suspect after shots were fired through a home’s window. York Regional Police got the call around 10:30 Sunday morning to a Wesley Street home, after someone heard gunshots. Police showed up, looked around, and found a home with bullet holes through a few windows. The occupants of the home weren’t hurt, but two men were seen running from the area towards a vehicle. Officers want to talk to them, along with any witnesses who were in the area at the time. Both suspects are described as male, 5’7″ to 5’10”, wearing dark-coloured clothing, driving a dark-coloured sedan.
