Austin Powers star Verne Troyer had reportedly been placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold prior to his death on Saturday. The actor was 49 when he passed away.
The actor, who was born with the genetic disorder achondroplasia dwarfism, had long struggled with alcoholism and was hospitalized for possible alcohol poisoning earlier this month, following an incident at his home in Los Angeles.
A cause of death has yet to be determined…
