“Very Disappointing” Spot Check Results

Police Hand Out Several Suspensions During RIDE Program

South Simcoe Police are calling the results of its latest RIDE spot check “very disappointing.” Police say they stopped 116 cars around Innisfil Thursday night, and of those, police handed out a three day suspension to three drivers, and one 24-hour novice driver suspension. That couples with two drunk driving arrests made by South Simcoe Police around 6:30 last night, and 3:30 this morning. A 30- and 23-year-old were charged in both cases, while in last night’s incident, police say two children were taken from the car too.
