Relief funding available for some
Floodwaters in Minden have started to recede, but the State of Emergency remains in effect. Queen’s Park announced Friday those affected will be eligible for funding under the Disaster Recovery Assistance Program. Residents should also be vigilant as contractors start going door-to-door offering their services. Some unscrupulous individuals could be among them. Due diligence is a must.
