Following their whirlwind tour of Canada as newlyweds, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will return to Canada for their second tour this fall, visiting British Columbia and the Yukon.
A spokesman for the couple said, “They hold very happy memories from their visit in 2011 — their first overseas tour as a married couple. They are really looking forward to seeing other parts of this beautiful country and having the opportunity to meet many more Canadians along the way.”
Trudeau also spoke about their upcoming visit, saying he is “delighted” by the news.
Whether or not George and Charlotte will be in tow is to be announced.

“The timing of the homecoming is ideal to raise fresh awareness of the significant year of 2017, the 150th anniversary of Canada’s Confederation,” said Robert Finch, chairman of the Monarchists League of Canada.
