Potential for some nasty weather this weekend..particularly in Muskoka. You already know about being ready for it by having snow tires on your vehicle and a snow brush, shovel and emergency in the trunk…those are obvious. Less obvious, says Cathy Clark, Simcoe County’s Manager of 911 and Emergency Planning, is always wearing a coat and having boots and gloves with you – even if you’re just driving from one place to another. And you want to be ready at home if the power goes out for several hours or days, or you get snowed in.
