Witnesses Sought to Crash And Possible Shots Fired
East Gwillimbury Single Vehicle Collision May Have Involved Gunshots
Police want witnesses to an unusual incident in East Gwillimbury to come forward. Just before 9:00 last night, York Regional Police got reports of a single vehicle crash into the ditch, in the Catering and Ravenshoe Roads area, followed by what is believed to be gunshots. A white four-door mid-sized vehicle was allegedly involved, possibly three males in the vehicle at the time. No injuries have been reported and the vehicle was able to leave the scene before police got there. Two of three vehicle occupants are described as black men in their 20’s to 30’s.
