Woman Charged With Obstructing Police

OSPCA Had Warrant

A  Meaford area woman is facing charges after she failed to follow orders set out by police. Police were attending a property at the request of the OSPCA. The Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals had a warrant to access the property and inspect it for any evidence of animal distress. Grey County OPP say the 26 year old woman was warned not to obstruct officers during the execution of the warrant, something they say she ignored. She will appear in court next month.
