Zika Threat Prompts Travel Warning For Florida

Pregnant women warned

Pregnant? Florida bound? Health officials say you should stay away from a Zika-stricken part of Miami (Wynwood arts district) after the number of infected people infected through mosquito bites in the U.S. climbed to 14. Couples who have been there recently should put off having children for two months; expectant mothers who have been there since mid-June should get tested for the virus. Officials at the Centers For Disease Control say they cannot remember another time in its 70-year history telling the public not to travel someplace in the U.S.
