Join us for an immersive full-day workshop at Discovery Harbour on the shores of beautiful Penetanguishene Bay (Georgian Bay).
Learn historic blacksmith skills alongside a blacksmith instructor in a small group setting.
Date and time:
- May 2 to September 5, 2026.
- Saturdays only – in English (reservations recommended)
- Sunday, June 28 and Sunday August 30 – in French (reservations required)
- 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Cost:
Adults (15 years old+): $200.00 including tax. Reservations are highly recommended as space is very limited.
What is included:
- Safety briefing
- Tour of the historic site emphasizing historic trades
- A tour of the H.M.S. Tecumseth Centre
- Gloves, safety glasses, heat-proof apron, ear protection
- Hands on instruction including blacksmithing techniques
- Finalizing your take-home metalworks project
