Smithers Will Get A Boyfriend In Upcoming 'The Simpsons' Episode
It will be a historic episode!
Waylon Smithers is finally getting a love interest on “The Simpsons.”
Mr. Burns' longtime loyal assistant will get a boyfriend in an upcoming episode titled “Portrait Of A Lackey On Fire.”
A synopsis for the episode reads: “Smithers finds true love with a famous fashion designer, but will his new relationship destroy Springfield?”
His love interest is described as fashion designer Michael De Graaf, voiced by Victor Garber.
Smithers -- who had a massive crush on his boss over the years -- previously came out in a 2016 episode titled “Tom Collins,” however, his romantic life was never explored fully.
The historic episode will air on November 21.
