'Young Guns 3: Dead or Alive' to Film in New Mexico

After nearly 40 years, Emilio Estevez is saddling up once again as Billy the Kid in the long-awaited third installment of the Young Guns franchise.
Titled “Young Guns 3: Dead or Alive”, the film will see Estevez not only reprising his role but also directing. Original cast members Lou Diamond Phillips and Christian Slater are also returning for the new chapter.

Estevez made the big announcement during New Mexico’s Film and Media Day at the state capitol, confirming that filming will take place in the same historic locations as the first two movies.
He even joked that some have suggested renaming the film “Old Guns.”

The original Young Guns premiered in 1988, followed by a sequel in 1990, both becoming iconic Western classics. Now, fans are eager to see if Billy the Kid still has one last ride left in him!
