The Clues
Get your green on, and let the hunt begin!
CLUE #1
Tipsy O’Kool is back and me gold’s up for grabs, A thousand bright coins for a lassy or lad!
Somewhere in Simcoe me treasure does stay, but Barrie itself won’t give it away.
CLUE #2
Don’t waste your mornin’ by shoreline or bay. No sandy beach hides me treasure today.
Dry land and roadways will guide you instead, so follow the pavement wherever it’s led.
CLUE #3
To chase down me gold you’ll be rollin’ along, on roads made for travel both steady and strong.
No hiking through forests or trails dark and thin, Just four wheels beneath you to help you begin.
CLUE #4
If Barrie’s your start, then here’s what I’d do, point north outta town with your treasure in view.
Leave city streets quickly and don’t take it slow, for north of Barrie’s the way you must go.
CLUE #5
The quickest route forward? Now here’s a fine tip: Highway 11 will help you along on your trip. The engines roar past with a thunderous hum. And northbound is where me adventurers come.
CLUE #6
By now you're well North and you're closin' the gap
But don't go relaxin' or takin' a nap
Keep to the main road where travelers glide,
the treasure's not buried too far off that ride
CLUE #7
If Orillia’s greetin’ you up on the way,
You’ve overshot me gold by a few kilometers I’d say.
Best turn that fine carriage around with a grin.
The treasure’s still south where the hunt should begin.
