Roof Rescue
Congratulations to Ashley Plewes, who was the winner of the 6th Annual Roof Rescue. Here was Ashley's nomination:
"Ashley runs a Back-to-School Backpack Drive. This is her 3rd year coming up. Ashley works her butt off to ensure kids in Collingwood have all the required items for school supplies and loads them into backpacks. The backpacks are distributed to needy children. She was able to get the Local Optimist Club to help and donate funds to help make this project get bigger. Ashley also sits on the Parent- Teacher Board to help with fund raising for the school. The house is an older house and is in need of new eaves trough and soffit. The shingles are showing signs of age. I feel that since she does so much for the community and her children's school, I would like to see her be recognized and rewarded for her contributions to the Community."
