Drop Your Drawers Event

The Furniture Bank Barrie will be holding a “Drop Your Drawers” event on Saturday, May 18, 2024. This is a pop-up, furniture drop off event where the community can donate their gently used furniture (including but not limited to beds, dressers, small dining table sets, electronics, love seats, sofas, and armchairs) to those in need. Typically, donors need to arrange a pick-up time and pay a small fee to have their furniture delivered to our warehouse, however, this is an opportunity for people to drop-off their donations. We accept:
– Dressers
– Beds (twin, double, queen)
– Nightstands
– Small dining sets
– Sofas, love seats, and armchairs
– Coffee tables
– Lamps
We DO NOT accept:
– Large appliances
– Anything with rips, stains, or significant wear and tear that cannot be repaired
– Ability equipment (e.g., wheelchairs)
– Bedding, toys, and other non-furniture items
– Tube televisions
– Oversized or overweight items
