Matthew Perry’s ‘Friends’ Are All So Utterly Devastated Over Sudden Death

The stars of "Friends" are very sad about the loss of Matthew Perry. Matthew, who played Chandler Bing on the show, was found unresponsive in the jacuzzi at his home in Los Angeles on Saturday. The police came after a 911 call, according to the LAPD.

His five "Friends" co-stars—Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer—didn't speak right away. On Monday, they shared a joint statement with People magazine.

"We are all so very sad about losing Matthew. We were more than just castmates. We are a family," they said. "We have a lot to say, but right now we need time to grieve and understand this loss."

They also said, "In time, we will say more when we are able to. For now, our thoughts and love are with Matty's family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world." The message was signed by Aniston, Cox, Kudrow, LeBlanc, and Schwimmer.
