10 MILLENNIAL THINGS GEN Z SAYS ARE NO LONGER โCOOLโ ๐๐

Gen Z has released another list of things Millennials aren't allowed to do anymore.
Which is adorable.
We survived dial-up internet, MapQuest directions and burning CDs illegally on LimeWire.
We can handle your criticism, Brayden.

Here are 10 Millennial things Gen Z has apparently decided are officially uncool.
1. TAKING PICTURES OF YOUR FOOD
Remember when brunch couldn't begin until everyone photographed their eggs? Gen Z says stop.
2. SAYING โI DID A THINGโ
Bought a house? Got a tattoo? Cut your own bangs after two glasses of wine? Millennials love posting: โSo... I did a thing.โ Gen Z would like us to stop doing the thing.
3. SKINNY JEANS
We've known about this one for a while. Gen Z says skinny jeans make us look likeย Gru fromย Despicable Me. Counterpoint: I spent 15 years learning how to get into these things. You're going to have to peel them off my cold, moisturized legs.
4. SAYING โLOLโ OUT LOUD
Apparently, you're supposed to just... laugh. Sorry. We've been typing LOL since MSN Messenger. At this point,ย it's part of our vocabulary, lol.
5. OPEN-TOE SHOES
Excuse me? We finally reached an age where we can afford pedicures and now you want us to hide them? Absolutely not. These toes cost $65. They're seeing daylight.
6. MONOCHROME FURNITURE
Gen Z wants more colour in the home. Meanwhile, Millennials spent 20 years saving enough money to buy a house, and now every room is beige because...
7. SAYING โADULTINGโ
Gen Z hates the term. Millennials use it whenever we accomplish something basic.
Paid the hydro bill? Adulting. Booked a dentist appointment? Adulting.
Made dinner instead of ordering Skip? ELITE adulting.
8. SIDE PARTS
Apparently, the side part still screams Millennial. But here's the problem. Some of us tried the middle part. And the mirror said: โPut it back.โ
9. HIGH-WAISTED JEANS
Wait. First you took our skinny jeans. Now you're coming for high-waisted jeans?
You can't takeย tight ankles AND tummy containment. Pick a struggle.
10. THE JIM CARREY FACE
You know the face. The giant grin. The eyebrows. The fullย Ace Ventura. Gen Z says it's cringey and should be left to Jim Carrey. To which Millennials have only one response:
ALLLLLLRIGHTY THEN!
So apparently we're uncool.
Fine.
We'll be over here in our skinny jeans, side parts and high-waisted pants, saying LOL and taking pictures of dinner.
Because eventually Gen Z will understand the fundamental rule of getting older:
At some point, being comfortable becomes WAY more important than being cool.
Now get off our lawn.
LOL.
