🎶 A Legacy to Live Up To
The 2017 original film was a global phenomenon, grossing over $800 million worldwide and winning two Oscars(Best Animated Feature & Best Original Song for Remember Me). Coco followed Miguel, a 12-year-old boy who dreams of being a musician despite his family’s ban on music.
His adventure in the Land of the Dead during Día de los Muertos brought generations together—both on and off-screen.
While Coco 2 is still years away, fans are already buzzing about what’s next for Miguel and his familia. Will we see him as a young adult? Could we explore more of the afterlife’s musical wonders?
Either way, Pixar has big shoes (or should we say, guitar strings?) to fill. 🎸✨
