Barrie Police Say Bandit Hit Two Stores in One Night
Two pharmacies in Barrie are short some stock, thanks to a fleet-footed bandit. Barrie Police say around 9:00 Sunday night, a man went into an Essa Rd. Shopper’s Drug Mart and asked to see a Playstation 4 locked behind the cash register. Once the suspect had the item in hand, investigators say he made a run for the door and got away clean. Less than two hours later, the exact same crime was reported at a Shopper’s Drug Mart on Bayfield Street. The suspect is described as:

- 5’6″-5’10”
- 175-180lbs
- Unshaven
- Noticeable scar above left eyebrow
