For The First Time In A Long Time, Taylor Swift Is No Longer The Most Searched Person On Google

Is anyone really surprised?

In case you’ve somehow missed the biggest news in music this week, Beyoncé released her latest album on Friday, and “Act II: Cowboy Carter” goes out of its way to point out that music genres are overly confining labels.

Cowboy Carter easily reached number one this weekend on many streaming platforms and is Spotify’s most-streamed in one day in 2024…

Beyonce released a monster record with 27 tracks containing country music, but also folk, gospel, rap, pop and even some Italian opera – and it celebrates Bey’s desire to span beyond any labels or limits.

The album features many collaborations and appearances by the likes of Black country trailblazer Linda Martell, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Miley Cyrus, and Post Malone…

One of the tracks is a beautiful cover of The Beatle’s “Blackbird,” and samples of Chuck Berry are found on the album also…

Cowboy Carter, which features tracks “Jolene,” “II Most Wanted,” “Bodyguard,” “Sweet Honey Buckin’” and more, is currently streaming across music platforms.
