GROWN UPS 3ย IS OFFICIALLY HAPPENING... AND NOW WE ALL FEEL ANCIENT ๐ฌ๐

Remember when Grown Ups came out in 2010 and everyone thought, "Wow, these guys are old"?
Well, bad news: that movie premiered 16 years ago, which means we're now roughly the same age as the characters were back then. Pass the ibuprofen.
Netflix has officially confirmed that Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Maya Rudolph, Maria Bello and Salma Hayek are all returning for Grown Ups 3, more than 13 years after the last film hit theatres.
Filming is already underway in New Jersey, and this time around, the kids from the original movies are all grown up, which means the gang is finally free to embark on what producers are calling "the ultimate adventure."
Translation: expect plenty of middle-aged chaos, questionable decisions and at least one scene where somebody throws out their back doing something they definitely shouldn't be doing.
The franchise first debuted in 2010, following five childhood friends who reunite with their families for a Fourth of July weekend filled with pranks, nostalgia and way too many fart jokes. The sequel, released in 2013, brought the group back together in their hometown and somehow involved a giant deer.
Several new cast members are also joining the fun, including Julie Bowen, Deon Cole and Bailee Madison.

Plot details are still under wraps, but let's be honest, most fans aren't watching Grown Ups for the storyline. They're watching to see a bunch of lifelong friends roast each other for two hours while reminding us that adulthood is mostly just complaining about your knees and wondering why dinner costs $150.
Netflix hasn't announced a release date yet, but one thing is certain: by the time Grown Ups 4 rolls around, the gang will probably just be arguing over thermostat settings and comparing prescription medications.
And honestly? We'll still watch. ๐๏ธ๐จ๐ฆ
