Mike Myers Is Back As Dr. Evil For Super Bowl Commercial

Excellent!

After reviving his “Wayne’s World” character for a previous Super Bowl commercial, Mike Myers is bringing back another one of his iconic roles for an ad that will air during the big game this weekend.

The villain from the “Austin Powers” movies, Dr. Evil, is back in a new commercial for GM, and he’s brought his sidekicks with him, though their priorities have shifted since audiences last saw them.

While the pinky-posing villain is still dead set on taking over the world, his minions remind him that with the ever-looming threat of climate change, he must first tackle that before returning to his dastardly plans.

Seth Green is back as Dr. Evil’s son, Scott, while Rob Lowe returns as #2 and Mindy Sterling reprises her role as Frau Farbissina for the ad that highlights the company’s work to reduce carbon emissions.

The ad marks the first time they’ve shared the screen since 2002’s “Austin Powers in Goldmember.”
