Spider-Man Sinks Titanic at the Box Office 🕷️🚢

Sorry, Jack and Rose. There’s a new king of the world.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day has officially passed Titanic at the worldwide box office, bringing in more than $2.3 billionsince hitting theatres July 31st.

That makes it the fourth-highest-grossing movie of all time, sitting just behind Avatar: The Way of Water.

And Spidey is VERY close to stealing third place.

The current top four:

1. Avatar – $2.92 billion
2. Avengers: Endgame – $2.80 billion
3. Avatar: The Way of Water – $2.334 billion
4. Spider-Man: Brand New Day – $2.332 billion

So basically, Peter Parker is just a couple of million bucks away from the podium.

The movie also became only the eighth film ever to cross $2 billion worldwide and the second-fastest to get there, behind Avengers: Endgame.

Poor Titanic. First, the iceberg. Now Spider-Man.

Although let's be fair... if Jack had been bitten by a radioactive spider, that whole door situation would've ended VERY differently.
