5 Reasons Your Heart Is Judging You
You might think you’re doing fine, but some everyday habits are working against your ticker. Let’s break it down...
1. Sitting Too Much
If your idea of exercise is reaching for the TV remote, your heart is rolling its eyes. Moving a little each day—walking, dancing, whatever—goes a long way. So, get up and shake a leg (literally).
2. Stressing Like It’s Your Job
Bills, work, WiFi issues—life is stressful, but stress is not your heart’s friend. Find a way to chill: meditate, breathe deep, or take a dance break. And yes, screaming into a pillow is valid.
3. Treating Sleep Like a Luxury
Your heart hates when you skimp on sleep. Think of yourself as a phone—if you don’t recharge, you crash. So, turn off the Netflix, put the phone down, and catch those Zs.
4. Avoiding the Sun Like a Vampire
If your only light source is your laptop screen, there's a problem. Lack of sunlight means low Vitamin D, which your heart does not appreciate. Step outside for 15 minutes—your heart, (and your neighbour who is wondering if you still exist), will thank you.
5. Becoming a Social Hermit
Loneliness isn’t just sad—it’s bad for your heart. Call a friend, chat up the barista, or at least make eye contact with another human on the daily. Social connection matters!
Bottom Line: Love your heart! Move more, stress less, sleep better, soak up some sun, and don’t be a hermit.
Sounds like we all need a sunny vacation somewhere hot.
