Alcona Storefront Smashed, Driver Facing DUI Charge
Police Say Driver's Blood Alcohol Was Over Three Times The Legal Limit
An Innisfil man is facing charges after allegedly giving an Alcona business a new entryway. Police were called to the Innisfil Beach Road establishment yesterday around 1:00 after a vehicle drove through the front of the building. The 24-year-old man behind the wheel of the SUV was taken to the stationhouse, where police say his blood alcohol readings were more than 3 1/2 times the legal limit. While the boy will have to go to court to answer to Drunk Driving charges, police say, luckily, no one had to go to the hospital after the crash.
